We have all the basic fixins ready – 2 corned beef briskets, cabbage, taters, carrots 🥕, and a mixed 18-pk of Guinness, Harp and Smithwick’s (“Smiddicks”). A couple of Black and Tans, for the cook. There’s also the proper ingredients for the infamous, insulting Irish Car Bomb, which we will only make if requested. Irish son-in-law never gets offended by anything, but he’s not enthusiastic about the last item’s name and bloody legacy. ☘️ 😱💣😆
Sounds wonderful! Normally, I make corned beef on St. Paddy’s but with daughter/grand-kids arriving tomorrow from Thailand, am making a pot of spaghetti with meatballs & sausage. 🙂
Well, the Real Irish in Ireland don’t eat corned beef for St.Paddy’s Day. They eat lamb/mutton, with roasted or mashed potatoes. I imagine they would love some spaghetti and meatballs. 😋

Both my Irish grandpappys were railmen. One a brakeman for 50 years the other a roundhouse machinist. He only had 35 years with the railroad.
