A young man in the office I work in, San Diego born and raised, left Wednesday with his dad and son for Billings Montana. The old man retired and sold the house, bought in Billings. Sonny is helping him move. He texted me Thursday night. They were 3 hours away from their destination and it was -30F. But only 6″ of snow. First White Christmas.
I left the propane fireplace going yesterday afternoon when we left for dinner & then hubby’s concert. It was freezing cold & blustery outside. Was concerned for our dog should the power go out. When we came home, the power was on but the bedside clocks were blinking so at some point we lost power while we were gone. Doggy was just fine. 🙂
