Little Green Factcheckers

Recently, Jim Hoft / The Gateway Pundit revealed what most of us already knew: Fact Checkers are biased rumpswabs, and he posted several examples in a post entitled

Bogus Fact-Check Site Used by Google Lists All Conservative Outlets as “Low Credibility” – But Lists All Far Left and Liberal Mainstream Outlets as High Credibility

Fact-checking is an imminent necessity because “you’re not intelligent enough to adequately read, research and or rationalize for yourself,” the socialist arbiters of truth proclaim, “so, you must rely on us to filter out the ‘fake news.’”

MediaBIasFactCheck.com, is a fact-checking [site] that prides itself as “the most comprehensive media bias resource in the Internet,” despite being run by an owner who was previously exposed for misleadingly claiming to be a journalist.

Besides his own site, he lists several other prominent conservative websites rated as “untrustworthy” including Breitbart, Daily Mail, The Federalist and Project Veritas, He follows up with the ratings for a handful of left-wing sites, and as expected, the reviews are all positive. But Hoft missed one.

I keep meaning to compile a comprehensive list (with links) of every Charles Blowzit. The obvious ones are well known (flags, menuboard, air cav hat, etc.), but there are a lot of others, and the number is climbing.

It’s “The Streak,” and it’s epic in scope and duration. Wrong on EVERY damn thing since 2009! 😆

        • Bunk X says:

Might need some memory refreshment to catch them all.
Just noticed that there are subliminal PPPLOLs in the .gif.

          • Octopus says:

He just added a new one:

            BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHH!!!!!!’

            In the real world:

            Edward Donald Slovik
Edward Donald Slovik (February 18, 1920 – January 31, 1945) was a United States Army soldier during World War II and the only American soldier to be court-martialled and executed for desertion since the American Civil War.

            ——————

I’m pretty sure the last famous deserter, the transgender tool who caused the deaths of a couple of other soldiers trying to find him, was given a medal by Obama for being brave and stunning. 😂😄😂😂

          • Bunk X says:

Charles knows all about it. He knows freakin’ everything. Thank you, Charles. You’re so awesome.

I bet the New York Slimes is rated Very High for factual reporting. Assholes.

      • Octopus says:

The Slimes is as Anti-American now as Pravda ever was. Not exaggerating at all — they really, really hate us! I just read an interview with libtard-documentarian Ken Burns, who has made some great docs, almost always filtered through the lens of race. The Slimey interviewer prodded him to make idiotic comments about systemic racism, Trump, America’s dark history, etc. So barfworthy! 😂

        • rightymouse says:

That’s dreadful. I really liked his Civil War documentary.

          • Octopus says:

“The Civil War” is a masterpiece, and of course race was an integral part of the story. Yes, he over-emphasized race as a causative factor of the war, but that’s to be expected. PBS would withdraw their support if he didn’t beat the race-drum in every one of his docs, to some degree. I watched “The War” not long ago, about WWII, and he blathered on too long about segregation in the ranks, the internment of Japanese people along the West Coast, and even some Latino-based discrimination he really had to dig for. It’s a theme he can’t quit, like Stephen King always has his “Magical Negro”-character in nearly every story.

          • Octopus says:

Btw, Burns has been married twice, and has two lovely daughters by his second wife, but in between wives he carried on a long-ish affair with an African-American gentleman who is almost never referenced by interviewers, and not at all by Burns himself. Isn’t that a wee bit homophobic? 😆

          • rightymouse says:

I did NOT know that about Burns. Wow! 😯

          • Octopus says:

It’s hush-hush, like Tom Cruise, Mel Brooks, Bradley Cooper, Aaron Rogers, John Travolta, etc.

          • rightymouse says:

            Mel Brooks? 😯

          • Bunk X says:

“He over-emphasized race as a causative factor of the war” when it wasn’t. That history was being re-written as early as the 1960s.

          • Octopus says:

Re: Mel Brooks – I read that about him on one of the muckraking “celebrity blind items” sites, a few years ago. I really have no idea if it’s true, particularly given his lifelong marriage to Anne Bancroft. He has outrageously campy homosexuals in many of his films, which trait could be taken as homophobic or its opposite, whatever that may be.

          • rightymouse says:

Re: Mel Brooks. Pics or it didn’t happen.

          • Octopus says:

This audio will have to do for now. 😄

          • rightymouse says:

Are you sure this wasn’t just pandering, tongue in cheek stuff? Asking for a friend.

          • Octopus says:

I’m not sure of anything about Brooks’ sexuality – I just heard the rumor, and was compelled to report it by the year of journalism I took in colludge. 😄

I have no problem with gayness in general, and we have lots of gay friends, including several family members. “Some of my best friends…” 😂

I don’t have a ton of respect for gays who attack straights for no reason other than their being hetero. Also, I think people should come out of the closet, and not lie to prospective opposite-sex partners. Other than that, flame 🔥 on!!!

          • rightymouse says:

My gay friends are ex-military. Vietnam. Very successful men. I love them dearly. And they would be appalled by the video I posted way down below.

And if you saw the tape I saw, within 3 or 4 seconds, along the far wall of the hallway several federal agents with M4s approach the front of the group trying to help the poor woman. Protest? Yes. Civil disobedience? Absolutely. Riot? Maybe. Terrorism? No. Insurgence? Only 1 side had weapons and used them.
Pascrell and Charlie the Commies are idiots.

Someone ought to ask Charles if Ray Charles was a Oh Wait…

        • Octopus says:

Brother Ray’s version of “America The Beautiful” is one of the highest points in American music, period. And he loved his country, with all its faults, which were much worse on the racial side than they are today.

I also love Marvin Gaye’s infamous anthem, which was critiqued heavily by dumb people when he first delivered it. Now it seems kind of low-key brilliant and soulful:

          • Octopus says:

The sheer talent of this man hit me between the ears as a youngster, as his beautiful songs of the early-70’s kept coming out and dominating the Detroit airwaves, one after another. I went to a pro-am golf outing with one of my neighborhood friends, whose Dad was a car salesman and part-time golf-pro at a local country club. I got the autographs of all the Detroit Lions at the time(including Lem Barney, Charlie Sanders, and Alex Karras), and we ate dinner afterwards at the club, where they were playing Gaye’s masterpiece album, “What’s Going On.” They announced a new song from his next album, the soundtrack album, “Trouble Man.” When I listen to this song now, I hear it all: the soul, the pop r&b, the cinematic imagery, and even some very early rapping. Gaye was a genius, the most talented guy in Motown’s stable, just slightly ahead of Smokey Robinson, and all the gifted musicians and singers that Berry Gordy exploited.

    Deadly Michigan!

Officials say 34 people drowned in the Great Lakes this Fourth of July.

According to the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project, 34 drownings were reported on the Great Lakes on Sunday, a 36% increase from last year, when 25 people drowned in the Great Lakes on the Fourth of July.

Officials said 16 people drowned in Lake Michigan and six people drowned in each of Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. No drownings were reported Sunday in Lake Superior, according to the GLSRP.

Authorities said there are two additional possible drowning cases in both Lake Michigan and Lake Erie that could increase the total from 34.

And then there’s this tragedy, in my own city:

    https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2021/07/05/nhl-player-killed-in-novi-when-fireworks-malfunction-caused-him-to-slip-in-hot-tub-hit-head/

NOVI, Mich. – A goalie from the National Hockey League was killed this weekend in Novi when a firework struck him in the chest, an autopsy revealed.

Matiss Kivlenieks, 24, a goalie for the Columbus Blue Jackets, was at a gathering Sunday night in Novi when there was some type of fireworks malfunction, according to Novi police.

Novi police previously said Kivlenieks slipped and hit his head while fleeing a hot tub due to a fireworks malfunction, but a Monday autopsy revealed he was killed by blunt force trauma to the chest, authorities said.

Here is a statement from the Blue Jackets:

“It is with profound sadness that the Columbus Blue Jackets announce goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks passed away last night at the age of 24 as the result of a tragic accident. The Riga, Latvia native suffered an apparent head injury in a fall. Medical personnel were called immediately, but he succumbed a short time later.

“‘We are shocked and saddened by the loss of Matiss Kivlenieks, and we extend our deepest sympathies to his mother, Astrida, his family and friends during this devastating time,” said Blue Jackets President of Hockey Operations John Davidson. “Kivi was an outstanding young man who greeted every day and everyone with a smile and the impact he had during his four years with our organization will not be forgotten.’

“Kivlenieks, who signed with Columbus as a free agent in May 2017, went 2-2-2 with a 3.09 goals-against average and .899 save percentage in eight career games with the club. He made his NHL debut at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 19, 2020, stopping 31-of-32 shots to beat the New York Rangers, 2-1. He posted a 33-35-9 mark, 3.31 GAA, .896 SV% and three shutouts in 85 career games with the Cleveland Monsters, the Blue Jackets’ American Hockey League affiliate from 2017-21. He represented Latvia at several international tournaments including the 2021 IIHF World Championships this spring, where he went 1-2 with a 2.18 GAA, .922 SV% and one shutout in four games.”

The wife saw a mouse in the garage today, which meant I had to peanut butter the traps again and lay them in wait. I don’t like the killing, but I understand the need. I don’t like mouse-poop in the house, in the pans and in the pantry, as we have had a couple of times over the past 30 years in this house. Mice are cute, but they are not compatible with modern suburban living.

Our last dog, Murphy the Huge Chessie, had a great way of controlling the mice after an infestation that was caused by the construction of two homes at the end of our street, several lots away. He would leap, seemingly from a sound sleep, across the room and land with his forefoot on a luckless tiny rodent. There was no need for anything but the disposal of this tiny dancer, after that. He would follow us to the garbage bin, to make sure we finished the job, but he couldn’t help but express his pride in a job well-done. Damn, he was a good dog.

    • rightymouse says:

We live in the country and mice show up in spring & summer. Have caught ten of the little fur-balls over the last 2 months. Have used traps and glue pads. No mice in the two traps yet. Maybe the guy we saw yesterday was just visiting? There’s a small gap in the garage door weatherstrip where mice can go in and out. I don’t think there’s any food out there, tbh.
