Interesting that Charles decided to subtweet to Joel Pollak, author and senior-editor-at-large of Breitbart.com about the late ex-Klansman and U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd (D-WV).
Byrd was the founder and recruiter for the West Virginia branch of the Ku Klux Klan, and although he left the organization, his voting record on race never changed. He is relevant to current events as President Biden praised and supported Byrd’s race segregation and anti-civil rights policies.
Charles Johnson knows this. So why did he send this post down the LGF Memory Hole? Because his assessment in 2007 was correct.

I had a fun afternoon with the neighbor, helping him dig out and replace the drain tile between our houses. I had installed the “system” with our original neighbors, 30 years ago, and discussed it with the New Guy, fresh off the plane from Japan, last Fall. It was obviously clogged and flooding. Yesterday, he came over and told me had bought all the supplies, and he was going to do it today. I fucking HATE surprises like this, but I like this guy, so I told him I was ready to help. I got to use the Ditch Witch digger, and I got a very good workout with the digging and whatnot. I supplied the homemade beer, too. When we finished, we killed a couple more strong brews, and hugged like real bros. 😂
Now I’m going to sleep, and I might sleep all day tomorrow. Unless there’s an Amish barn-raising, in which case I’ll be there at the crack of doom.

Our youngest has occasional bouts of tachycardia, which is terrifying to her, and concerning to us, of course. She wore a heart monitor for two weeks recently to track what’s been going on, and the conclusion was that it was “probably harmless.” So there’s that to think about, for a girl who already deals with anxiety issues.
It’s a digestive issue. He’s going in for a colonoscopy. I think he’s allergic to beer like his Dad. I don’t drink beer because I don’t like the taste.
As for your daughter, I’d get a 2nd opinion on her tachycardia. Doctors tend to pooh-pooh women who display potential heart problems. Just sayin…
She’s been to several doctors, including a specialist. This has been going on for several years – she definitely has occasional arrhythmia, skipping beats here and there. The racing thing is new, and we’re waiting for the full results from the heart monitor test. Aye Caramba!
